Allen Fritts, president of Honeywell Fire Systems, was recently inducted into the Hall of Fame class of 2009 by Security Sales & Integration (SSI) magazine, the industry’s number one technology and business authority.
SSI selected Fritts for a number of his industry leading accomplishments, including growing Notifier by Honeywell into the largest fire alarm system manufacturer in North America and establishing its international business throughout the world, eventually becoming president of Honeywell Fire Systems. He advanced industry unity as president of the Security Industry Association (SIA), and involvement with the National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA) and Automatic Fire Alarm Association (AFAA). He is also a Fire Department of New York (FDNY) honorary deputy fire chief, and an FDNY foundation board member.
The magazine article commented that the inductees “not only carved out brilliant careers for themselves but in doing so have immeasurably contributed to the betterment of all things security.”
