Honeywell Launches Educational Emergency Communications Website

Honeywell Life Safety has launched a website dedicated to educating building owners, facility managers, architects, engineers, and end users on Emergency Communications Systems (previously known as Mass Notification Systems).

The ability to provide real-time information to all building occupants or personnel in the vicinity of a building during emergency situations has become a critical concern for those who manage and safeguard facilities and their occupants. This new website, www.emergency-communications-systems.com, explains the origins of the technology and shares applicable codes and standards that surround such systems. The site also presents typical applications and an array of solutions, along with an explanation of the importance of effective communications. In addition, the site offers visitors the opportunity to tap into in-house, Fire Systems Group Services’ capabilities for design and applications services.
