Honeywell’s Decade of Transformation… The Best is Yet to Come

In a video message, Honeywell Chairman and CEO Dave Cote discusses Honeywell’s transformation over the past decade from a company with three competing cultures and little investment in products, processes, people or geographies to a global technology leader with a strong financial track record, sound strategies, disciplined processes and an outstanding, mobilized workforce of over 130,000 worldwide.  Cote highlights Honeywell’s terrific financial performance from 2002 to 2011, the company’s stock price outperforming the S&P 500 growth over the same period, and strong 2011 financial results even in a slow GDP growth environment.

Looking toward the future, Cote notes that Honeywell’s great positions in good industries and full pipeline of new products, services and technologies, along with a more global focus, strong cash generation, a great leadership team, and key process initiatives like Honeywell Operating System (HOS), Velocity Product Development (VPD™), Functional Transformation (FT), and ERP deployment will enable the company to continue to outperform.  Summarizing the decade Cote said, “While the last ten years have been great, the best is yet to come.”
