Honeywell was recently honored with a Cornerstone Partner Award by China Leaders for Global Operations (CLGO), celebrating the company’s strong support in developing the next generation of global operations leaders in China, specifically over the past five years.
Shane Tedjarati, president of Honeywell High Growth Regions, was granted the CLGO Distinguished Leadership Award, which is the only award bestowed on an individual at the recognition session. With Tedjarati’s strong support, Honeywell has provided internship opportunities to 16 CLGO students and hired five graduates as full-time employee since 2009.
CLGO is a dual degree (Engineering & MBA) master’s program jointly run by two prestigious universities – Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Shanghai Jiaotong University. As one of the four industry partners at the inception of this program, Honeywell has played a key role in bridging the gap between academia and real business operations, and offered CLGO students opportunities to apply their learning at Honeywell.
